Idea to prototype, five gates.

One workshop owns the brief, the CAD, the print, and the next iteration. You stay in the loop.

  1. Brief What it must do, load, size, and the date you need a part in hand.
  2. Design / CAD We model for print and for the real job — not a pretty STL that fails on the bench.
  3. Print Material, orientation, and infill chosen in the same room that stocks the spool.
  4. Test & refine Fit, function, and another pass if it does not hold. Revisions are priced up front.
  5. Deliver A working prototype, files you own, and notes on how we printed it.

Stage 1 — Read the geometry

Wall thickness, overhangs, and whether the file is even printable. We say so before we quote a number that cannot be kept.

Stage 2 — Slice for the load

Orientation follows the force, not the pretty face. Infill, walls, and material are written into the quote so you can compare revisions.

Stage 3 — Check before handoff

Supports off, threads fitted if we promised them, critical sizes checked with calipers. If it is wrong, we reprint — we do not ship a known miss.
