Problem: boards were drifting in a handmade fixture. Approach: locate on datums, print, test on the line. Result: repeatable seating without a machined plate.
Problem: a startup needed a grip and button layout they could show a supplier. Approach: foam sketch to CAD to printed shells. Result: a unit they could click, not a render.
Problem: OEM lead time was months. Approach: measure the failed part, model the wear surface, print in nylon. Result: a runner they could fit the same week.
From the floor
“We buy PETG here because the colour on the shelf is the colour that prints. WhatsApp when a roll is late is faster than any ticket.”
“They did not sell us a pretty model. They asked what load the clip sees, then printed until it stayed shut.”
“Quote came with material, infill, and a date. The prototype showed up on that date.”
